What Makes this Workshop Different?

Love doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Our relationships are shaped by family expectations, cultural narratives, and how we learned to express emotions, apologize, or express ways of caring. This series invites you to explore those layers gently, intentionally, and with professional guidance.

Each week, our series workshop blends conversation, reflection, and practical exercises to help you move from awareness to action.

Who Is This Series For?

  • Asian, Asian American or other intercultural couples in dating, engaged, or early marriage stages
  • Partners curious about how culture, communication, and family dynamics shape intimacy
  • Couples or individuals who want tools for communication and conflicts across cultural styles
  • Those who are seeking a safe, reflective community for connection, growth, and understanding
  • If you prefer a small and supportive group rather than individual or couples therapy, this workshop series is for you!

Asian/Asian American & Intercultural Couples Workshop Series FAQs

    Is this therapy?

No — it’s a guided online workshop series in a small-group format, focused on exploration and growth, not clinical therapy.

Do we have to be Asian or Asian American?

While the focus is on Asian & Asian American experiences, intercultural couples interested in the cultural lens and how identity shapes relationship dynamics are welcome.

Can individuals attend without a partner?

Yes — individuals who are in a relationship, or exploring how culture and identity affect intimacy, are welcomed.

What if we miss a week?

Because it’s a sequential series, we ask that you commit to all four sessions. However, if you need to miss one, please let us know — we’ll provide a summary of what you missed.
