Embracing the Journey Together
Motherhood is a beautiful, rewarding, and a very challenging journey. It makes sense as to why it brings about such a variety of emotions. Whether you’re a new mom, a seasoned parent, or navigating the complexities of life with little ones, our support group is designed for you.
We believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where moms can come together, share experiences, and provide each other with encouragement and support. We look down upon judgment and focus on enrichment and unity.

- Emotional Support: A place to talk about your feelings, struggles, and victories with other moms who understand. We provide space for you to come as you are free of expectations and judgment.
- Practical Tips: From newborn care to balancing work and family, we share resources and strategies that make life a little easier. We as a group come together to provide different hacks, tips, and trades. It takes a village!
- Personal Growth: Explore your identity beyond motherhood. Our group fosters self-care, self-compassion, and personal development. We encourage mothers to embrace their individuality guilt free!

Meet Kristen Sessoms
Hi! I’m Kristen Sessoms, Atlanta Therapist at Fava Counseling Associates. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples and parents in various counseling sessions. As a mother myself, I resonate deeply with other mothers who are attempting to navigate life after having children. I provide a deep level of support and guidance to mothers who may be struggling with adapting to responsibilities that come with parenthood. I also support mothers who are experiencing postpartum depression or postpartum anxiety, and mom guilt. When you are the nurturer, it’s not uncommon to need and desire a space where you can be nurtured yourself. You will be seen, heard, and validated in my space!
