Hi, I’m Rachel Postic.

Rachel-Postic

I help clients cultivate healthier relationships with themselves, romantic partners, friends, and family so that you can experience more peace, contentment, and joy.

Navigating life can sometimes feel like wandering through the forest without a map, unclear of how to get out of the place you are in and through the other side. You may even feel that you have tried everything you can to make your life or your relationship better, but still you feel stuck. When we are stuck in these cycles, it can feel impossible to get out. I understand how hopeless and frustrating these seasons can be. My job is to come alongside you and help you navigate your way through the difficult chapter you are in. It is my honor to hold hope for my clients when they need a faithful companion for the journey ahead.

Couples Therapy in Atlanta

My passion is working with couples across a variety of stages in their relationship, particularly couples who are dating, engaged, newly married, or transitioning into parenthood. Couples in these stages of their relationship often face issues such as perpetual conflict, communication issues, betrayal, trauma, infidelity, complex family dynamics, and life transitions. Together, we’ll work to understand where each of you is coming from and collaborate on a plan to establish a more unified dynamic within your relationship.

Individual and Family Therapy for Adults and Adolescents

I also see individuals (ages 15 and up) experiencing difficult life transitions, relationship issues, loneliness, issues of faith or spirituality, and complicated family dynamics. I have specialized experience working with women who seek to identify how and why they continue to be a part of harmful relationships, women who have recently ended a relationship and are struggling to  move past it, and women who are seeking to implement boundaries with others or with themselves. My goal is to give all my clients a space to feel fully known and deeply loved in the midst of their story.

I believe that therapy should not only provide you a space to talk about what’s on your mind, it should be a place where you receive non-biased support, direct feedback when appropriate, and helpful resources. Additionally, because I understand how spiritual and religious beliefs can mold and shape our lives in vitally important ways, I specialize in integrating this element of clients’ lives into our time together if they wish to do so. I gladly welcome clients from all spiritual, racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

I have training that allows me to be a resource for couples, families, and individual clients. I am under the direct supervision of Lauren Dack (LPC, LMFT, CPCS).

If you feel that we may be a good fit, reach out to me for a free phone consultation.
